Stoke City FC 1994 - 95 Away Retro Football Shirt
The 1994-95 season saw manager Joe Jordan move on after less than a year in charge, to be replaced by his own predecessor, and fans' favourite, Lou Macari who returned to the club after a similarly brief spell in Scotland.
Macari brought in players like Kevin Keen and Ray Wallace, but it was the summer acquisition of Canadian striker Paul Peschisolido which was the most telling and he finished as the club’s top scorer with 15 in all competitions. The formidable form of Toddy Orlygsson in midfield also really impressed the fans, but it was another of Macari’s new signings, Larus Sigurdsson, who pipped his Icelandic compatriot to the ‘Player of the Season’ crown.
