Take a bunch of cult ex-footballers from FC Wageningen and Vitesse, a team of football journalists, a team of football bloggers and an abandoned stadium. One year after In den Ban van Abe these successful ingredients formed the basis of another cult event, Ballen op de Berg, that took place on Friday the 13th (!) 2013 at the old Wageningse Berg ground. The journalists, bloggers and former FC Wageningen team wore our special design kits.

After being 3-0 down at half time, the football bloggers managed to score three goals in the second half, eventually losing the game on penalties. During the main game, about 1,000 fans celebrated a last-minute FC Wageningen equalizer, resulting in a 1-1 derby draw against former Vitesse.
