The long wait for new SL Benfica items is over with the addition of three all new retro styles to our collection:
The 1984 - 85 Retro Football Shirt, the season in which Benfica secured their 19th Taca de Portugal; The 1985 - 86 Retro Football Shirt, A year where a dramatic end of the season saw Benfica finish as runner’s up in the league but in which another Taca de Portual was added to the tally; and the 1962 - 1963 Retro Jacket, the Lisbon Giants claimed the league title in style winning 23 of their 26 league games while losing just one.
The new Borussia Mönchengladbach retro collection features two retro football shirts from the mid- to late 80’s period and one from the 1995 - 96 season. Season’s in which the club achieved strong league finishes with managers Jupp Heynckes, Wolf Werner and Bernd Krauss at the helm. These Borussia teams were bolstered with influential players the likes of Uwe Rahn, Uwe Kamps, Ulrich Borowka, Frank Mill, Martin Dahlin & Stefan Effenberg.
This year we once again had the privilege of designing two football shirts for the Bier & Ballen Festival, held in Breda, The Netherlands. The shirts, available in limited numbers, were sold exclusively at the site of thh all-encompassing football culture festival which saw a host of both local- and national football-heroes take the stage.
The 1996-97 season was a historic one for Lierse SK as the club surprised the Belgian game by securing the fourth national championship in its history. The success came after a thrilling battle with Club Brugge, the contest decided in the penultimate round as Lierse jumped ahead in the race after coming from behind to defeat Genk.Bob Peeters, newcomer Philip Haagdoren and Brazilian Zefilho contributed strongly to the goal output of Eric Gerets' title-winning side.
